Women of the Wild Outdoors
is a collective dream & creative
vision of this husband & wife team, Ed & Lisa
Retterath. He's a hard-working successful
entrepreneur who's had the enjoyment & privilege of
hunting & fishing with his family & friends since he
was a little boy.
These outdoor trips & adventures were his family vacations &
bonding time with friends providing great memories & educational
experiences. She had the privilege of being from a
military family & traveled extensively on many
moving trips & adventures. She carried that adventuresome spirit
into a career with the airlines enjoying all the wonders the world outdoors had to
offer. As a couple, they have been both fortunate &
blessed with these many opportunities &
experiences... now they want to share by promoting
women in the outdoors with you via a new television
programming experience. But they are not the
stars--YOU are!
Our Team is a collaboration of creative vision & talent! We have many talented freelance cameramen & editors whom without there would be no show, but we'd especially like to acknowledge the following:
Mark
Ambroz who has an impressive background & experience in the television industry. He has filmed & helped to produce many great outdoor shows: Gander Mountain's 'We Live Outdoors', Babe Winkelman's 'Good Fishing', Lindner's 'Angling Edge TV' & Ron Schara's 'Minnesota Bound'. His obvious enjoyment of the outdoors, keen videographer & production skills have been a great asset.
Congratulations to one of our editors, Kirk Douglas, for a 2010 Hanley President's Award for his work on Season 1 Finale of Women of the Wild Outdoors (TV Programming).
Again-- a Big Thank You to all our talented 'behind the scenes' people & outfitters!
Our Show has no continuing Host or focus on celebrity status-- it belongs to our featured guest stars from around the world & in your own neighborhood. A special THANK YOU to all of you---the true talent & why we do what we do. Interested? Currently we have an audition process (How to
be a Guest) Stay tuned for more...
Welcome to the next generation of
outdoor shows...
